Memorial Garden

The Reach team are working with Pencoed Town Council to provide designs and accessibility improvement plans for a small garden opposite Salem Church, which is an area used by the local community for reflection and the placing of memorials.

The small garden opposite Salem Chapel , Coychurch Road, Pencoed is a small garden containing seats and flower beds, which is owned by the Town Council and is available for the people of Pencoed to use. The local community have recently shown an interest in making this a haven for memories of loved ones lost in War Times and other instances where people can sit and reflect.

This study will consider suggestions for improved access, tree management and species planting, consultation with user groups and provide enhanced designs, funding advice and presentation of the plans to the community.
